Parish Football Tournament for Community and Charity
Our parish held the second edition of the "Cup of Heroes of Ukraine" football tournament, bringing together six teams and over 65 players for a day of competition, fellowship, and fundraising in support of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
The Event
The tournament kicked off on September 14 with a prayer and a message from Father Andrii, our parish priest. The Ukrainian and American national anthems were played before the first matches began.
The final matches took place on September 21. Cheering supporters included parishioners, family members, friends, and anyone eager to participate in this charitable event.
"The Church participates in various aspects of life, including sports. The goal of the tournament is to help the Armed Forces of Ukraine and spend time meaningfully," said Father Andrii.
