The Ukrainian Greek Catholic community in Seattle, WA, united and founded the Parish of Our Lady of Zarvanycia.
The life of the first parishioners from 1960 to 1998.
The life of the parishioners from 1999 to 2006, including Easter celebrations, St. Nicholas Day, and other liturgical events.
The premises were purchased in October 2007. Our parishioners began repairing and improving the Church building with dedicated effort and enthusiastic service. The first Divine Service in the new church was held on December 25, 2007, at 10:00 AM.
On December 16, 2007, our parish community offered a public farewell and gratitude at St. James Cathedral after 48 years worshiping in the side chapel, shortly after purchasing our own church on Beacon Hill.
On December 25, 2007, our parish community celebrated the first Divine Liturgy in the newly acquired church building on Beacon Hill, marking a historic milestone in our parish journey.
